Filler Masterbatch & Modifier

A filler masterbatch is a concentrate of finely ground mineral fillers (like calcium carbonate or talc) in a carrier resin used to modify plastic properties.

Moisture Masterbatch

A moisture masterbatch, also called a desiccant or anti-moisture masterbatch, is an additive that absorbs moisture from plastic materials during processing, preventing defects like holes, cracks, and foam.

Moisture Masterbatch

A moisture masterbatch, also called a desiccant or anti-moisture masterbatch, is an additive that absorbs moisture from plastic materials during processing, preventing defects like holes, cracks, and foam.

How it works
  • Moisture absorption: The desiccant masterbatch contains active desiccating agents that bond with and remove water molecules from the plastic melt during processing.
  • Defect prevention: This process prevents the moisture from turning into steam and creating issues like blisters, silver streaks, fisheyes, and poor surface finish in the final product.
  • Improved product quality: By eliminating moisture, it helps maintain the integrity of the plastic, improves its strength and surface gloss, and allows for the increased use of recycled or degraded materials.
Desiccant Masterbatch - Calcium Oxide (CaO) Based

The most common type — absorbs residual moisture during processing. Prevents hydrolysis, voids, and surface defects.

Uses: PP, PE, PS, ABS, Nylon
